The wicked never find peace because they follow their own inordinate inclinations

St. John Eudes (17th century): âExperience, as well as faith, teaches us that the wicked shall find no peace.  But on the contrary: those who love and serve God shall enjoy peace in abundance, which shall render their lives a thousand times sweeter and more agreeable than are the lives of those who follow their own inordinate inclinations.â
