Christians have consecrated in Baptism their bodies as pure temples to the Holy Ghost
Spirituality
St. Peter Canisius (16th century): âIt is a shocking thing that Christians are not marvelously ashamed, who pollute themselves with filthy lust in the sight of God and His angels, whereas they have consecrated in Baptism their bodies and members as pure temples to the Holy Ghost, and to Christ our Lord.â
Doctrine
âRemember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors, remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet doneâŚâ (Isaiah 46:8-10)
