SAN ANTONIO - A 49-year-old man lands in jail after his girlfriend discovered cell phone video of him sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. The arrest highlights a disturbing problem in our community. Child abuse has been called an epidemic in San Antonio. Caseloads here are among the highest in Texas and the numbers spike during the holidays. Antonio Salinas is charged with sexual assault of a child. The victim told detectives the incident happened the week before Christmas, a time counselors at ChildSafe say children are vulnerable.
