Woman found guilty of killing boyfriend with stiletto
usatoday.com HOUSTON — A Houston woman was convicted of murder Tuesday for stabbing her boyfriend with a 5½-inch stiletto heel. Prosecutors said Ana Trujillo stabbed 59-year-old Alf Stefan Andersson at least 25 times in the face with her shoe during a June argument at his Houston condominium. Trujillo's attorney said she was defending herself from an attack by Andersson, a University of Houston professor and researcher. Prosecutor John Jordan disputed that. "This is not self-defense. This is a vicious murder," he said during closing arguments Tuesday. Jack Carroll, Trujillo's attorney, countered that his client did the only thing she could do while being attacked: defend herself.
