“Turning to Germany: a gay priest is apologizing for so-called homophobia. On July 16th, the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Fr. Wolfgang Rothe took part in a gay pride parade in Munich, where he asked forgiveness, ‘for what has been done to queer people in our Church.’ Rothe filed a criminal complaint in 2021 against a Polish priest, Fr. Dariusz Oko, accusing him of anti-gay hate crime for his writings exposing the Lavender Mafia in the Church. Oko was forced to apologize and pay a fine.”
