"The Vatican's news-page VaticanNews.va published on March 30 an article entitled “Coronavirus: Earth’s unlikely ally.”
Its author, Jesuit Father Benedict Mayaki, rejoices that the coronavirus lockdown yields 'unintended benefits to the planet.'
Among them he lists a positive outcome regarding the fish in Venice, carbon emissions, and pollution, 'Earth is healing itself.'
The article makes no reference to problems caused by the coronavirus."
