"A transgender woman who identifies as a man has settled a lawsuit with a southern California barbershop for saying they 'don't cut women's hair.'
According to transgender woman Rose Trevis, she filed suit against Hawleywood's Barber Shop & Shaving Parlor in Long Beach when they allegedly rejected her based on their business being a place for men's hair. The incident 'disturbed' Trevis.
'I was disturbed that a public business would have the audacity to deny me service because I was perceived to be a woman,' she said."
