"An MP has claimed a transgender prisoner injected bleach into her testicles before trying to hack them off after being denied hormone replacement therapy in an all-male jail.
Cat Smith, the shadow minister for women, told the House of Commons the 'vulnerable' prisoner was in the process of making her full transition when sentenced to time behind bars.
Despite recognising as a female, she was sent to an all-male facility.
