The body of a five-year-old autistic boy from Pennsylvania who went missing during a New Year's Eve party has been found in a canal, police said.
Jayliel Vega Batista, who wandered away from his home without shoes or a coat, was last seen on CCTV around 11pm on Thursday running near an intersection in Allentown.
Dozens of police officers, 20 dog teams, firefighters and volunteers have spent the past two days looking for him before his remains were discovered in the Lehigh Canal this afternoon around a quarter of a mile from his home.
