Upon Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ death in 2011, his widow Laurene Powell Jobs became richer by 5.5 million with a 7.3% stake in the Walt Disney Co. from inheriting her husband’s wealth and stakes.
By now, that inheritance has tripled its amount has given Laurene a net worth of $17.7 billion, ranking her the 47th of Wealth-X’s “50 Richest People In The World”, which was released in January.
