Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince has warned of “potential war” with Iran within the next 10 to 15 years, Anadolu reported on Friday. Mohammad bin Salman called on the international community to put more political and economic pressure on Tehran in order to avoid “direct military confrontation.”
“Sanctions put more pressure on the [Iranian] regime,” Bin Salman told the Wall Street Journal last Monday during his current trip to Washington. “We must achieve this in order to avoid a military conflict. If we fail to do this, we will probably have a war with Iran in 10-15 years.”
