San Francisco cops hunt for heartless woman who robbed 8-year-old girl selling candy

An 8-year-old girl selling candy was robbed outside a California store by a woman claiming she needed money for a bus fare, cops said.
The little girl was with two other children selling the sweets when she first encountered the suspect inside the store near Divisadero and Eddy Sts. in San Francisco on Monday, KTVU-TV report.
The children were standing behind the woman, believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, as she walked away from the counter after she didn’t have enough money to buy a $1.25 can of beer.
The store’s owner told the news station the woman kept glancing over at the children’s stash of candy and cash.
