"Renowned gymnastics coach took his own life after he was accused of child abuse"
dailymail.co.uk An Indianapolis gymnastics coach who had been facing child pornography and molestation charges when he was found dead in his jail cell took his own life, a coroner said. Chief Deputy Marion County Coroner Alfarena Ballew said on Monday in a statement that Marvin Sharp, 49, died from asphyxia due to suffocation. His manner of death is listed as a suicide. Sharp, who trained two members of the 2008 U.S. women's Olympics team, was found dead on September 19 in his Marion County Jail cell.
