Prescription Vending Machines Coming to Arizona State University
preventdisease.com Recently, multiple sources have covered the installation of InstyMeds prescription vending machines at Arizona State University. The installation came about when the campus health center closed last September. The machine works by giving the prescription holder a voucher and an access code good for only 24 hours. Is this the path we are heading? Arizona State is only the second university to install these machines (Florida State was the first), but InstyMeds officials claim that the machines are rigged to sound an alarm and alert the authorities if tampered with.
