Poor-Looking Seattle Man Donates His Secret Fund Of $188 Million To "Charity"

Jeff Roberts thedecisionisyours.org A Canadian born attorney who lived out of Seattle recently made headlines after donating all of his wealth to charity, a reported total of $188 million. His name was Jack MacDonald, who lived to be 98 before his death in July of 2013. MacDonald was known to live a frugal lifestyle wearing worn-out clothes with holes in them and carrying around coupons in his pockets. For this reason, many didn’t know he was rich at all. The late Jack MacDonald and his late wife Mary Moore. In his will Jack donated a whopping $188 million to the charities of his choice. People who knew Jack said anyone would think that he was poor by the way he dressed and lived his life. His daughter, Regen Dennis, told the Seattle Times that “Jack went out of his way to look poor, partly because he didn’t want to be badgered by people who wanted money.” He spent 30 years working as a Veterans attorney before retiring and picking up stock investing as a hobby. His parents owned a well-known meat packing company for years which they left the earnings from to Jack.
