theblaze.com Thousands of pieces of “advanced hardware” issued to U.S. military forces in Afghanistan ended up for sale on the Internet, according to a Pentagon report obtained by the Intercept.  Beginning in 2009, as many as 32,000 thermal optic imaging and night vision devices were reported missing from the federal defense’s inventory. They were later discovered on a a “variety of websites,” including Craigslist, eBay, texasguntalk.com and sportfishermen.com.
