Numerous adults will reject God and pledge their allegiance to the Devil as 2014 begins

Michael Dimond Each year millions of adults make it a 'tradition' to ring in the new year with drunkenness and fornication.  As 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, those are mortal sins that destroy justification and send those who die in that state to Hell. It's especially demonic that multitudes choose to 'celebrate' the new year in such a way: by spitting in God's face. I believe that God truly abhors the pagan celebration of the new year (in which people commit mortal sins) because it means that people are marking the new year by breaking God's law and dedicating themselves to the Devil.  The celebration of sin at that time seems to acquire an extra dimension: a cultic rite that dedicates the fresh, new year to the author of sin. By committing grave sin during the very first moments of the year, people cut themselves off from graces and blessings in the coming year and begin the new year in the worst possible way.  That's clearly why the Devil has worked to establish in society the pagan way of celebrating the new year. Unfortunately, most or all of these souls will end up in Hell for all eternity.  Only in Hell will they realize their stupidity.
