Mom desperate for attention gave her healthy daughter, 4, chemotherapy drugs and documented her 'illness' on Facebook as she asked for donations

A Gold Coast mother, jailed for poisoning her healthy daughter with cancer drugs, was so desperate for attention she documented her four-year-old's 'failing health' on Facebook and raised money for medical costs.
The mother excitedly watched her audience of Facebook followers grow as her little girl's health continued to drastically worsen until the 23-year-old was arrested in April 2013.
The mother-of-two, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been feeding her daughter chemotherapy drugs she bought over the internet from June 2012 until April 2013; leaving her little girl fighting for life in hospital and in incredible pain.
'No parent should ever have to see a world where you are woken at night from children screaming in pain where you can hear children vomiting from the other side of the ward, wretching so hard because they have nothing else to throw up (sic),' she wrote in a Facebook post, according to The Courier Mail.
