Man Found Dead In Girlfriend's Freezer, Her Son Implicated In The Murder
huffingtonpost.com VENTURA, Calif. — Police found the body of a missing California man in a freezer in his girlfriend's storage unit, authorities said Thursday. Officers found the body of Jeffrey Korber in June after searching the unit in Ventura as part of a homicide investigation, Ventura police Cmdr. Darin Schindler said. Now, police are seeking more information about Mary "Francesca" Hannan, 66, and her son Michael Bresnak, Schindler said. Ventura County police said in a statement they believe Bresnak killed Korber at his mother's Ventura home and that she helped him store the body. Police declined to release additional details of the killing. Bresnak, 49, is currently in the Ventura County jail on an unrelated violation of the terms of his release for a drug-related conviction, police said.
