Man breaks into Oregon police station for skateboard
aol.com A 20-year-old Oregon man was caught on camera trying to break into a police station. "Fox & Friends" explains that he 'wanted his skateboard back after it was confiscated during a shoplifting arrest.' The guy pulls the doorknob so hard it comes right off. He walks off with it, but is arrested again for the attempted break-in.' Local station KFXO reports police officers didn't have to look any further than the surveillance video to figure out what had happened. They say the man who walked off with the doorknob is named Nathaniel Mirelez. 'For this, Mirelez was booked for attempted burglary and criminal mischief. He was also trespassed from the police department.' KOIN, which also obtained the surveillance video, notes that when Mirelez was arrested, he told officers he wanted his skateboard back. No word on whether he did, indeed, ever get that skateboard back - but he now faces several charges, including second-degree attempted burglary.
