Loyal dog searches buses daily for missing owner
Kelli Bender pawnation.com What happens when man's best friend is abandoned by his owner? Heartbreak. According to the Daily Mail UK, Huang Huang, a dog in Southwest China, has spent the past two weeks searching for the owner who left him behind. Huang Huang boards every bus that comes to the stop where he was left behind, sniffing from seat to seat hoping to pick up a scent and be reunited with his human. Like any other passenger, the hopeful dog waits in line with other riders for the bus and boards the vehicle in an orderly manner. Once on the bus, Huang Huang immediately starts to whimper as he searches the seats for his former master. Passengers and drivers feel for the dog, who allegedly spends 10 hours each day looking through the area's buses. Drivers say it isn't until nightfall that Huang Huang gives up and retreats into the darkness. The stop that Huang Huang dedicatedly haunts is at a parking lot outside a temple in Chengdu, China. Bus operators originally thought the dog was looking for food, until a driver remembered seeing the canine with man about a month ago. Huang Huang's hunt for his owner has gone viral after a rider filmed one of the dog's routine searches and posted it online. Several drivers are interested in giving the dog a good home, but want to give Huang Huang's owner a few more days to reappear. Until then, bus operators and passengers are keeping an eye on the lonely pup and making sure he stays safe.
