Louisville Police arrest two burglary suspects after following footprints in snow
wdrb.com
Wednesday's snowfall turned out to be more than an inconvenience for a pair of suspects in a burglary case.
According to an arrest report, police responded to reports of a burglary in the PRP neighborhood around 8 a.m. on Jan. 20. That's when one of the officers noticed footprints in the snow leading to a nearby home in the 8600 block of Devonshire Drive occupied by Juan Lopez and Maria Delpilar Garcia-Rodriguez.
After getting a warrant to search the home, police say detectives found items reported stolen on Jan. 20, as well as property from other thefts, including a firearm stolen from a victim in Shelby County.
Both suspects were arrested Wednesday afternoon.
