Judicial Watch: Clinton Had Secret Deal Over Docs

The government watchdog group Judicial Watch revealed last week it has learned of a secret agreement between the State Department and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that allowed her to walk away with boxes of documents.

Clinton and her then-Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin were allowed to remove electronic and physical records from the department’s Foggy Bottom headquarters, claiming they were “persona and unclassified, non-record materials.” These documents included Clinton’s call logs and schedules, which have never been made public, but could shed light on potential corruption connections with the Clinton Foundation.

Under the agreement, just provided under a Freedom of Information Act request, show the State Department records would not be “released to the general public under FOIA.”
