John 16, Properly-Formed Conscience
MHFM: This passage of John 16 (which applies to the persecutions in the ancient Church) is a good example of how many wicked people that think they are serving God. Hence, just because one considers himself to be obeying God doesn’t mean that he is obeying God. His conscience must be properly formed according to God’s revelation.
John 16:2-3- “Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.”
