dailymail.co.uk
In most situations, it pays to be polite but a bad attitude at an airport can be especially costly, according to staff who have revealed what really goes on behind the scenes.
From giving wrong directions to travellers who are already late to laughing at what people have in their carry-on luggage, airport staff have spilled the beans on life in the luggage hall.
Check-in agents, security officers and coffee shop baristas, have taken to anonymous confessions app Whisper, to share their shocking secrets.
While it may not occur at every airport, a number of staff have admitted to taking pleasure in purposely misleading, getting revenge on and overcharging people who are rude.
