Hillary Clinton Slams Law Blocking Race-Based, Down Syndrome-Based and Gender-Based Abortions

Ahead of Tuesday’s Indiana primary, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton criticized a new state law that blocks abortion based on the race or gender of the child or for unborn children with Down syndrome.
“I will defend a woman’s right to make her own health-care decisions,” Clinton said, according to the Washington Post. “I’ll tell ya, I’ll defend Planned Parenthood against these attacks. And I commend the women of this state, young and old, for standing up against this governor and this legislature.”
