"Fr." Frank Pavone's Protestant Theology

"Fr." Frank Pavone is the National Director of Priests For Life, a pro-life organization.  Certainly he does some good things to fight against the abomination of abortion.  However, as the video and points below demonstrate, the man is not a Catholic.  This should not be surprising when one considers that he adheres to the Vatican II sect.  However, some of the heresies he utters in the video below are remarkable.  They come from a sermon he gave to a non-Catholic audience in 2014.  The talk was given in the Protestant 'Believer's Bible Christian Church' in Atlanta, Georgia.

The undeniable message of his sermon to the non-Catholic audience in the Protestant 'church' is that the non-Catholics are true Christians, they are perfectly fine where they are, and there's no obligation whatsoever to be Catholic.  According to Pavone, the Protestants are filled with the Spirit and part of the Body of Christ.  That is notorious heresy, of course. Pavone does not possess or profess the true Catholic faith.  The Catholic Church teaches that there is no salvation outside the Church, that the Catholic faith is necessary for salvation, and that people must accept the Papacy and Catholic dogma to be saved.  Pavone's statements constitute a public rejection of that faith.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS HE SAYS IN THE SERMON

• 1.01 - Pavone says that the Lord is with them in the heretical 'church'.

• 1.29 - Pavone says the Protestant "faith" is “inspired by the Spirit of God Himself, and that Spirit is shining through you right now, individually and as the Body of Christ".  This is a clear rejection of the necessity to be Catholic.  It also blasphemously asserts that the Spirit of God is the power operating behind sects of perdition.  His statement that they are part of the Body of Christ is a notorious heresy that denies defined dogmas and dozens of magisterial pronouncements.  Pavone even applies this to people in “churches” coast to coast.  So, all the Protestants are in the Body of Christ, according to the apostate Pavone.  When Pavone sets forth the notoriously heretical position that Protestants who reject the Papacy and Catholic dogmas are in the "Body of Christ", he is actually just repeating the heretical teaching of Vatican II.  See Vatican II's Protestant Heresy.  That's why one cannot be a true Catholic if one adheres to Vatican II or the heretical Vatican II antipopes.

• 2.16 - Pavone refers to Protestant “churches” as “Christian”.

• 7.53 - Pavone calls the heretic Martin Luther King, Jr. a “prophet” and “bible believer”.  Even though we agree with Martin Luther King, Jr.'s rejection of racism, the truth is that he was a disgraceful non-Christian. Luther King, Jr. was a womanizer, a heretic, and a false prophet.  In addition to rejecting other truths of the Catholic faith, Luther King, Jr. didn't even believe in the deity of Christ or the historical truth of the Resurrection and the Virgin Birth.

• 9 min. - Pavone preaches a totally false unity with Protestants.  He perverts the meaning of "that they all may be one".  He says that the divisions between various groups that claim to be Christian are “tearing apart the Body of Christ”.  That means that adhering to the Papacy, and requiring that others do so, "tears the Body of Christ".  This is a rejection of the Catholic faith.  Pavone is a notorious heretic.  He then cites the apostate Martin Luther King, Jr. as a model for Christian unity – what disgraceful heresy.

• 41.43 - Speaking of various political groups, Pavone says: "I'm not asking anybody to change anything that they're doing".  All he seems to care about is that people oppose abortion.

• 51.16 - Concerning those who have had abortions, Pavone says: “we are not condemning them”.  This is misleading language.  It minimizes the sin and the fault involved in having an abortion.

• 52.23 - Pavone talks about how they were dancing around the 'church'; he says that his movement is not a movement of judgment.  This, once again, is misleading language; but it's palatable to people who don't want to submit to God's truth or face the consequences of gravely sinful actions.

Clearly, Pavone is a notorious heretic.  He's not a Catholic.  He doesn't preach the Catholic faith, but the false Vatican II religion.  It's also interesting that while totally rejecting the necessity of Catholicism and accepting Protestantism, Pavone emphasizes the uniqueness of Jesus Christ in this sermon to the Protestants.  That's probably only because an emphasis on Jesus Christ as the only Savior appeals to this Protestant congregation.  If he were speaking to a Jewish or Muslim audience, his message would almost certainly be quite different.

Pavone also offered an Indult 'Mass' for a period of time, and he may still do so today.  He thus serves as another example of how the 'priests' who purport to offer the Latin Mass or hold conservative views, yet cling to the Vatican II sect, aren't Catholic.  They are deceivers who lead people into the false Vatican II religion - a false religion that was on display during his trip to the Protestant 'church'.  Since he's not a valid priest (having been 'ordained' in the invalid New Rite of Ordination), his Indult 'Mass' was not valid.

Below are just a few of the dogmatic and magisterial pronouncements on the Body of Christ and the necessity of the Catholic faith that the notorious heretic Frank Pavone rejects.

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

Pope Leo XII, Ubi Primum (# 14), May 5, 1824: “It is impossible for the most true God, who is Truth itself, the best, the wisest Provider, and the Rewarder of good men, to approve all sects which profess false teachings that are often inconsistent with one another and contradictory, and to confer eternal rewards on their members… by divine faith we hold one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and that no other name under heaven is given to men except the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in which we must be saved. This is why we profess that there is no salvation outside the Church.”

THE CHURCH’S MAGISTERIAL TEACHING THAT PROTESTANTS, ETC. ARE NOT IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Bull “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra: “It [the Holy Roman Church] condemns, rejects and anathematizes all who think opposed and contrary things, and declares them to be aliens from the Body of Christ, which is the Church.”

This is what the Catholic Church professes.  As the aforementioned facts show, it's not what Frank Pavone professes because he’s not part of the Catholic Church.

Pope Pius VI, Charitas (# 32), April 13, 1791: “Finally, in one word, stay close to Us.  For no one can be in the Church of Christ without being in unity with its visible head and founded on the See of Peter.”

Pope Pius IX, Amantissimus (# 3), April 8, 1862: “There are other, almost countless, proofs drawn from the most trustworthy witnesses which clearly and openly testify with great faith, exactitude, respect and obedience that all who want to belong to the true and only Church of Christ must honor and obey this Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff.”

Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos (# 11), Jan. 6, 1928: “Furthermore, in this one Church of Christ no man can be or remain who does not accept, recognize and obey the authority and supremacy of Peter and his legitimate successors.”

Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi (# 23), June 29, 1943: “For not every offense, although it may be a grave evil, is such as by its very own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy.”
