Ferguson Cop’s Warning To Fellow Officers: ‘If You Don’t Have A Gun, Get One’
inquisitr.com Law enforcement officials in Ferguson are on high alert in anticipation of potential riots and protests following the controversial verdict of former officer Darren Wilson. The grand jury’s decision, which is expected to be announced later this month, could potentially be disastrous if local citizens aren’t pleased with the outcome of the trial. Of course, the highly-publicized verdict has been a major topic of discussion across the country. However, local citizens and onlookers aren’t the only people reportedly discussing the whole ordeal. Apparently, the Ferguson police officers have been chatting amongst themselves because a new report allegedly reveals the officers’ perspective of the upcoming verdict. According to CBS News, an alleged officer with the Ferguson Police Department has issued a warning through the Boardhost forum St. Louis Coptalk. He reportedly warned fellow officers to purchase a firearm to protect themselves and their families from the potential dangers expected to come with riots. Vocativ reports the cop posted on the forum under the name, “A Concerned Cop.”
