Catholic Teaching On Invalid "Baptism In Beer" Refutes Heretical Sophistry

Below is a letter from Pope Gregory IX in which it is taught that those who are baptized in beer are not to be considered rightly or validly baptized.  Beer is of course invalid matter.  Water is required.  However, it’s interesting to consider this quote in light of a point that was mentioned in our recent video: Novus Ordo “Thomists” Fall Into The Pit Defending Islam’s False God.

Gregory IX’s letter twice refers to people who were “baptized in beer”.  Does that mean that people can actually or validly be baptized in beer?  No, of course not, because in the very same passage he concludes his statement by teaching that those who are “baptized in beer” are not to be considered rightly or validly baptized.  Likewise, our recent video showed that certain authors say that the Samaritans “worshipped God along with idols” or “worshipped God along with devils”, but conclude their statement by teaching that therefore they did not worship God.  For example:

Lapide links his conclusion that they do not worship the true God but a false god precisely with the fact that they mixed the worship of God with idols.  He even uses “ac proinde”, meaning “and therefore”, to make this clear.  He writes: “ac proinde falsum fictumque colitis” (you therefore [proinde] worship a false and fictitious God).  Yet, certain absurd, deluded and extremely dishonest adherents of the Vatican II Sect will isolate his words, “You worship the God of the Judeans with your Assyrian idols”, to argue that he taught that people can actually worship God along with worshipping idols or devils.  That’s nonsense, of course, for it ignores the context and his conclusion which is that the Samaritans who worshipped God along with idols therefore did not worship God.  Read properly, his statement that they “worshipped the God of the Judeans with your Assyrian idols” does not mean that they validly or actually worshipped God along with idols.  Rather, it means that they attempted to do so and failed, just like Pope Gregory IX’s statement that those who were “baptized in beer” does not mean that people were validly or actually baptized in beer.  It only means that some people attempted to baptize with beer, but did not actually or validly do so, as the context shows.  The worship of the true God is indeed utterly incompatible with the worship of a false god or idols because worship is a profession of faith.  Yet, the aforementioned heretical defenders of Vatican II would have to argue that Pope Gregory IX meant that baptism can actually or validly occur with beer.  But that’s false, of course.  These considerations about those who were “baptized in beer” further expose the demonic sophistry of defenders of the Vatican II Sect and the absurd lengths to which they will resort in order to defend lies, blasphemy and heresy.
