"California Man Pleads Guilty To Vandalizing Islamic Center"

"A California man pleaded guilty Tuesday to vandalizing a Missouri Islamic Center and burning two Quarans. Now he’ll face fines, jail time, and have to apologize in person to the Muslim leaders of the center.
Adam Smock, 23, admitted in the plea agreement that on two occasions, once in January of 2011 and once in April of the same year, he and two other people vandalized the center. The trio sprayed graffiti on the Islamic Center of Springfield, and burned two copies of the Quran and left the charred copies in front of the Islamic Center. The total cost of the damage was $15,662. One of his fellow vandals was 14-years-old."
