"California church crushed by $112,000 worth of county COVID-19 fines has agreed to move outdoors"
"Jack Trieber of North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara, California, has announced that his church will cease holding indoor services and move their worship time outdoors after fines from the county for the violation of its COVID-19 regulations rose above $112,000.
The church was fined $5,000 every time it held an indoor service and received other financial penalties for allowing things like singing.
Trieber declined to seek the involvement of President Trump and had discouraged a campaign to flood county officials with emails of protest.
Even though the county has decided to drop its lawsuit against North Valley Baptist as a result of the decision to move outdoors, officials have confirmed the $112,000 worth of fines will not be forgiven."
