Boy beaten to death after trying to protect his sister, 12, from teenage rapist

Oliver Wheaton metro.co.uk An eight-year-old boy was beaten to death with a rock after trying to protect his sister from being raped. According to the police, a teenager approached the siblings who were playing outside their home in Richmond, Virginia, and sexually assaulted the 12-year-old girl. Witnesses say the attacker also threw a rock at her younger brother’s head as he defended his sister. Neighbours alerted police when they saw the girl, naked and covered in blood, running out of the woods near her house. Paramedics pronounced the boy dead at the scene. The victim initially described her attacker as a white male with scraggly facial hair, however police discovered she was threatened into providing a false description. Police have now arrested a black teenager suspected of the attack.
