"Bishop Married In Church"
"The novelist Silvia Caballol, wife of ex-Bishop Javier Novell Gomá of Solsona, Spain, has announced to the world on Instagram that she got married to the bishop in church 'thanks to the mercy of the Holy Father'.
She included a... photo and called it 'honest' to present herself and her family as fodder for the yellow press.
Caballol stressed that she admires 'the great human and spiritual quality of Pope Francis' and confirmed that her husband 'is still a bishop, but without being able to exercise his ministry'.
It cannot be ruled out that Caballol's honesty is based on the need for some media attention to boost sales of her erotic novels which, doubtlessly, gained her the sympathy of Francis and, above all, of Tucho Fernández.
Novell resigned as bishop in August 2021, and in November of the same year contracted a civil marriage..."
