Biden Regime Indicts Epoch Times Chief Financial Officer In Alleged $67 Million "Money Laundering" Scheme
Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) on Monday announced the unsealing of an indictment charging Weidong Guan, a/k/a âBill Guan,â the Chief Financial Officer of conservative media company The Epoch Times with participating in a $67 million transnational money laundering scheme.
Bill Guan, 61, of Secaucus, New Jersey, is facing up to 80 years in prison.
He was charged with one count of conspiring to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and two counts of bank fraud, each of which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
Bill Guan was arrested on Sunday morning and appeared before a magistrate judge on Monday afternoon.
