"The DOJ had previously sued Iowa and Texas over similar laws. In the lawsuit, they allege that the law 'intrudes on the federal government's exclusive authority to regulate noncitizens' entry and reentry into, and presence in, the United States.'

Never mind the fact that the federal government isn't doing its job. These laws wouldn't be necessary if they were.
At this point, it seems apparent that the current administration is an active enemy of American citizens, their safety, and the rule of law."
