Benedict XVI Says That The Active Presence Of False Religions Is A Source Of Enrichment For All

Benedict XVI, Speech, Nov. 28, 2006: “… I am certain that religious liberty is a fundamental expression of human liberty and that the active presence of religions in society is a source of progress and enrichment for all.” (L’Osservatore Romano, Dec. 6, 2006, p. 4.)

This means that the various false religions are a source of progress and enrichment for all! This is apostasy. In fact, if you think about it, Benedict XVI is saying exactly what Pope Pius XI condemned below, and what Pius XI said constitutes a total rejection of the true religion.

Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos (# 2), Jan. 6, 1928: “… that false opinion which considers all religions to be more or less good and praiseworthy, since they all in different ways manifest and signify that sense which is inborn in us all, and by which we are led to the obedient acknowledgment of His rule. Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting the idea of true religion they reject it, and little by little, turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it clearly follows that one who supports those who hold these theories and attempt to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely revealed religion.”
