Benedict XVI’s astounding heresies on Islam and other false religions

Benedict XVI’s September 16, 2012 Address at Farewell Ceremony at Beirut’s Rafiq Hariri International Airport in Lebanon:

“I cordially thank our venerable sister Churches and the Protestant communities.  I thank in particular representatives of the Muslim communities.  Through my stay here, I have noticed how much your presence has contributed to the success of my journey.  In these troubled times, the Arab world and indeed the entire world will have seen Christians and Muslims united in celebrating peace.  It is a tradition in the Middle East to receive a guest with consideration and respect as you have done.  I thank you all… I give thanks to God for granting these occasions, for these meaningful encounters which I was able to have, and for the prayer offered by all and for all in Lebanon and the Middle East, whatever their origins or religious beliefs… I pray to God for Lebanon, that she may live in peace and courageously resist all that could destroy or undermine that peace.  I hope that Lebanon will continue to permit the plurality of religious traditions and not listen to the voices of those who wish to prevent it.  I hope that Lebanon will fortify the communion among all her inhabitants, whatever their community or religion, that she will resolutely reject all that could lead to disunity, and with determination choose brotherhood.  These are blossoms pleasing to God, virtues that are possible and that merit consolidation by becoming more deeply rooted.”[1]

This address of Benedict XVI is a clear endorsement of idolatry.  He thanks God for the prayers offered by people “whatever” their religious beliefs might be.  Hence, he is thankful for prayers to false gods or even to the Devil.  This is heresy and apostasy.  Benedict XVI also states that Christians and Muslims are united.  Benedict XVI then promotes the frequently condemned heresy that false religions should be permitted to publicly promote their false beliefs.  He even tells people to not listen to those who do not want to see false religions publicly promoted in society.  Consistent with his indifferentism, Benedict XVI says that we should reject anything that could lead to any disunity among people of various religions.  He then describes this indifferentism and false interreligious “brotherhood” as virtues and “blossoms pleasing to God”.

Benedict XVI’s October 11, 2012 Homily opening “the Year of Faith”:

“The second document that was to prove important for the Church’s encounter with the modern age came into being almost by chance and it developed in various phases.  I am referring to the Declaration ‘Nostra Aetate’ on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions.  At the outset the intention was to draft a declaration on relations between the Church and Judaism, a text that had become intrinsically necessary after the horrors of the Shoah.  The Council Fathers from Arab countries were not opposed to such a text, but they explained that if there were an intention to speak of Judaism, then there should also be some words on Islam.  How right they were, we in the West have only gradually come to understand.  Lastly the realization grew that it was also right to speak of two other great religions – Hinduism and Buddhism – as well as the theme of religion in general.  Then, following naturally, came a brief indication regarding dialogue and collaboration with the religions, whose spiritual, moral, and socio-cultural values were to be respected, protected and encouraged.[2]

Benedict XVI states that Hinduism and Buddhism are great religions.  He then states that we must collaborate with false religions and that their false spiritual beliefs must be “respected, protected, and encouraged”!  This is outrageous heresy which has been condemned by true Catholic popes throughout the history of the Church.

Benedict XVI’s September 14, 2012 Address in the Basilica of Harissa:

“I am also gratified by the presence of the Orthodox, Muslim and Druze delegations, as well as those from the world of culture and from civil society.  The happy coexistence of Islam and Christianity, two religions that have helped to shape great cultures, is what makes for the originality of social, political and religious life in Lebanon.  One can only rejoice in this circumstance, which must absolutely be encouraged.  I entrust this wish to the religious leaders of your country.”[3]

Benedict XVI is gratified to be in the presence of followers of various false religions.  Benedict XVI then speaks in positive terms about how the false religion of Islam has “helped to shape great cultures” and “religious life.”  This is blasphemy and apostasy.

Benedict XVI’s Telegram to Chief Rabbi of Rome, Riccardo Di Segni for the Jewish feast Rosh Ha-Shanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot:

“On the festive occasions Rosh Ha-Shanah 5773, Yom Kippur and Sukkot I address heartfelt wishes for peace and good will to you and to the entire Jewish community of Rome, asking the Almighty for abundant blessings for the New Year and hoping that Jews and Christians, as they grow in mutual respect and friendship, many bear witness in the world to the values that come from adoration of the One God.

Benedict XVI makes sure to send a telegram to Christ-denying Jews to congratulate them for celebrating their Christ-less feast days of the false religion of Judaism.  The Council of Florence infallibly taught that those who practice the Old Law or observe Judaism will be condemned for all eternity.  Benedict XVI also says that Jews adore the one true God, which is a denial of the Trinity, heresy and apostasy.

Benedict XVI’s September 14, 2012 Address to Lebanese Political, Civil and Religious Authorities:

“Only forgiveness, given and received, can lay lasting foundations for reconciliation and universal peace.  Only in this way can there be growth in understanding and harmony between cultures and religions, and in genuine mutual esteem and respect for the rights of all.  In Lebanon, Christianity and Islam have lived side by side for centuries.  It is not uncommon to see the two religions within the same family.  If this is possible within the same family, why should it not be possible at the level of the whole of society?  The particular character of the Middle East consists in the centuries-old mix of diverse elements.  Admittedly, they have fought one another, sadly that is also true.  A pluralistic society can only exist on the basis of mutual respect, the desire to know the other, and continuous dialogue.  Such dialogue is only possible when the parties are conscious of the existence of values which are common to all the great cultures because they are rooted in the nature of the human person.  This substratum of values expresses man’s true humanity.  These values are inseparable from the rights of each and every human being.  By upholding their existence, the different religions make a decisive contribution.  It cannot be forgotten that religious freedom is the basic right on which many other rights depend.  The freedom to profess and practice one’s religion without danger to life and liberty must be possible to everyone.  The loss or attenuation of this freedom deprives the person of his or her sacred right to a spiritually integrated life.  What nowadays passes for tolerance does not eliminate cases of discrimination, and at times it even reinforces them.  Without openness to transcendence, which makes it possible to find answers to their deepest questions about the meaning of life and morally upright conduct, men and women become incapable of acting justly and working for peace.  Religious freedom has a social and political dimension which is indispensable for peace!  It promotes a harmonious life for individuals and communities by a shared commitment to noble causes… Thus believers today have an essential role, that of bearing witness to the peace which comes from God and is a gift bestowed on all of us…”[5]

Benedict XVI calls for mutual respect and esteem between different religions.  Catholics do not respect and esteem false religions – “religions” that lead to everlasting damnation.  Benedict XVI says he believes various false religions allow people to live “a spiritually integrated life” and cause people to know God.  He then says these false religions answer a person’s “deepest questions about the meaning of life” and cause people to engage in “morally upright conduct”.  He caps off his heretical address by calling followers of different false religions “believers”.  What an apostate!

Benedict XVI’s September 14, 2012 Answers to Questions on Flight to Lebanon:

“Fundamentalism is always a falsification of religion.  It goes against the essence of religion, which seeks to reconcile and to create God’s peace throughout the world.  Therefore the task of the Church and of religions is to undertake a purification – a lofty purification of religion from such temptations is always necessary.  It is our task to illuminate and purify consciences and to make it clear that every person is an image of God.  We must respect in the other not only his otherness, but also, within that otherness, the essence we truly have in common… we should find ways of accepting each person in his otherness, we should therefore make visible before the world the respect that religions have for one another, respect for man as God’s creation and love of neighbor as fundamental to all religions.”[6]

Benedict XVI says that different false religions “can create God’s peace throughout the world” and have a “task to illuminate and purify consciences”!  He states that false religions can engage in “a lofty purification of religion”.  The apostate Benedict XVI then states that we must accept and respect false religions.

“During my Visit, the people of Lebanon and of the Middle East – Catholics, Representatives of other Churches and Ecclesial Communities and of the various Muslim Communities – experienced enthusiastically and in a calm and constructive atmosphere an important moment of mutual respect, comprehension and brotherhood.  This is a strong sign of hope for all humanity… The Muslims welcomed me with great respect and sincere esteem; their constant participation enabled me to send a message of dialogue and collaboration between Christianity and Islam.  It seems to me that the time has come to bear witness against division… On that same day I had a meeting with the leaders of the Muslim religious community, which took place in a spirit of dialogue and reciprocal goodwill.  I thank God for this meeting.  Today’s world needs clear and strong signs of dialogue and collaboration… Seeing young Christians and Muslims celebrating in great harmony, I urged them to build together the future of Lebanon and of the Middle East… I then had the joy of a fraternal ecumenical meeting with the Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Patriarchs and the representatives of those Churches, as well as of the Ecclesial Communities.”[7]

Benedict XVI states that when we have brotherhood and respect for the false religion of Islam, “this is a strong sign of hope for all humanity”!  He then states that Muslims should help build the future of Lebanon and the Middle East.  What a heretic.

Benedict XVI’s September 15, 2012 Address to young people from Lebanon and other Middle Eastern countries:

“I should like now to greet the young Muslims who are with us this evening.  I thank you for your presence, which is so important.  Together with the young Christians, you are the future of this fine country and of the Middle East in general.  Seek to build it up together!  And when you are older, continue to live in unity and harmony with Christians.  For the beauty of Lebanon is found in this fine symbiosis.  It is vital that the Middle East in general, looking at you, should understand that Muslims and Christians, Islam and Christianity, can live side by side without hatred, with respect for the beliefs of each person, so as to build together a free and humane society… It is time for Muslims and Christians to come together...” [8]

Benedict XVI mentions how he respects the beliefs of each person and he thanks Muslims for their presence – which he says “is so important”.  It is condemned heresy to respect a false religion.  Benedict XVI speaks of the presence of Muslims as something wonderful.  Benedict XVI then asks that Muslims live “in unity” with Christians.  He promotes the lie that people can have unity with people who deny the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Benedict XVI’s September 14, 2012 Address at Beirut’s Rafiq Hariri International Airport:

“I wish also to greet very warmly the Orthodox Patriarchs and Bishops who have come to welcome me, as well as the representatives of the other religious communities in Lebanon... respectful dialogue between Christians and their brethren of other religions… I also come symbolically to all countries of the Middle East as a pilgrim of peace, as a friend of God and as a friend of all the inhabitants of all the countries of the region, whatever their origins and beliefs.  To them too Christ says Salami o-tikum. ”[9]  [Arabic for ‘my peace I give to you’]

Benedict XVI says he is a friend to Satanism, to pantheism, to the rejection of Christ, etc.  He states that he is a friend to all people – whatever their beliefs.

Benedict XVI’s September 16, 2012 Address at Ecumenical meeting at the Syrian “Catholic Patriarchate” in Charfet:

“I fraternally greet each one of you, who represent the diversity of the Church in the East, and in particular His Beatitude Ignace IV Hazim, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East and His Holiness Mar Ignatius I Zakke Iwas, Patriarch of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch and all the East.  Your presence brings great solemnity to this meeting.  I thank you with all my heart for being here with us.  My thoughts also go to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt and to the Ethiopian Orthodox who have had the recent sadness of losing their respective Patriarchs.  I wish to assure them of my fraternal closeness and of my prayers”[10]

Benedict XVI calls these schismatic “Orthodox” leaders the Patriarchs of the true Church for “all the East”!  Benedict XVI lavishes praise on the leaders of the schismatic “Orthodox” churches by calling them “Holiness” and “Beatitude”.  Benedict XVI does so because, according to him, to be a schismatic is to have “holiness”.

Benedict XVI’s answer to a question about building a possible “common witness” with Protestants and the “Orthodox” to help Europe and the whole human race:

“… Europe came into being, the roots which created the continent’s fundamental values and great institutions, in the vision of the Christian faith.  As you said, this soul must find a shared expression especially in ecumenical dialogue between the Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant Churches… Only when reason has a historical and moral identity can it speak to others, search for an ‘interculturality’ open to all and find a fundamental unity of values that can pave the way to the future, to a new humanism.  This must be our aim.”[11]

Benedict XVI says our aim must be a new humanism.

Benedict XVI’s October 17, 2012 Catechesis at General Audience:

“I also greet the representatives of the Jewish Federation of North America… and the Hawaiian dancers for their performances.”[12]

Of course, Benedict XVI cannot fail to thank those Hawaiian dancers for their performances.
