Matthew 5:41- “And whosoever will force thee to go one mile, go with him another two…”
St. Robert Bellarmine, De Romano Pontifice, Book 4, Chap. 15: “‘And whosoever will force thee to go one mile, go with him another two.’ [Mt. 5:41] The meaning is not that we should always do this but that we should be prepared to do this whenever that will be necessary for the glory of God.”
