Antipope Francis’ Notable Heresies and Apostasy from December 2016 to January 2017

Brother Michael Dimond Francis’ Recent Heresies

Francis’ December 11, 2016 reflection:

“I would like to express particular closeness to my dear brother Pope Tawadros II [Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church] and to his community, in praying for the dead…”[1]

Francis expresses his “closeness” to a heretical and schismatic “Orthodox” leader and his community.  Francis also calls him “Pope”.

Francis’ December 15, 2016 address:

“Nonviolence is a typical example of a universal value that finds fulfilment in the Gospel of Christ but is also a part of other noble and ancient spiritual traditions.”[2]

Francis calls false religions “noble” traditions.  The word noble means something good or praiseworthy.  According to the apostate Antipope Francis, false religions are “good”.

Francis’ January 19, 2017 address to the Ecumenical Delegation from Finland:

“I thank the Lutheran Bishop of Turku for his kind words… On this path, we Catholics and Lutherans, from several countries, together with various communities sharing our ecumenical journey, reached a significant step when, on 31 October last, we gathered together in Lund, Sweden, to commemorate through common prayer the beginning of the Reformation. This joint commemoration of the Reformation was important on both the human and theological-spiritual levels… At the same time we keep alive in our hearts sincere contrition for our faults. In this spirit, we recalled in Lund that the intention of Martin Luther five hundred years ago was to renew the Church, not divide her… In preparing the common commemoration of the Reformation, Catholics and Lutherans noted with greater awareness that theological dialogue remains essential for reconciliation and that it is advanced through steadfast commitment… Therefore 2017, the commemorative year of the Reformation, represents for Catholics and Lutherans a privileged occasion to live the faith more authentically, in order to rediscover the Gospel together, and to seek and witness to Christ with renewed vigor. At the conclusion of the day of commemoration in Lund, and looking to the future, we drew inspiration from our common witness to faith before the world…”[3]

Francis calls the heretical Lutheran layman a “Bishop”.  Francis again promotes the mortally sinful practice of common prayer with non-Catholics.  Francis repeatedly speaks about commemorating the so-called Reformation, one of the most evil events in history.  Francis ends by saying a Lutheran is someone who is a “witness to faith”.

Francis’ January 25, 2017 address:

“… we recall in a special way the fifth centenary of the Protestant Reformation. The fact that Catholics and Lutherans can nowadays join in commemorating an event that divided Christians, and can do so with hope, placing the emphasis on Jesus and his work of atonement, is a remarkable achievement, thanks to God and prayer, and the result of fifty years of growing mutual knowledge and ecumenical dialogue. As we implore from God the gift of reconciliation with Him and with one another, I extend cordial and fraternal greetings to His Eminence Metropolitan Gennadios, the representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, to His Grace David Moxon, the personal representative in Rome of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and to all the representatives of the various Churches and Ecclesial Communities gathered here...”[4]

Francis wants to recall the 500th anniversary of the Protestant revolution “in a special way”.  He describes it as “an event that divided Christians”.  In reality it wasn’t an event that divided Christians, but the separation of heretics, through their embrace of heresy, from true Christians (Catholics) and from the true Church.  At the conclusion of Francis’ address, he calls the heretical Anglican representative “His Grace” and their non-Catholic leader (a layman) “Archbishop”.

Francis’ January 27, 2017 address to members of the International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue Between the “Catholic Church” and the Oriental “Orthodox Churches”:

“Through you, I send cordial greetings to the Heads of the Oriental Orthodox Churches, my venerable brothers… As Catholics and Oriental Orthodox, we can repeat the words of the Apostle Paul: ‘For in the one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body’ (1 Cor 12:13)… Once more the martyrs show us the way. How many times has the sacrifice of their lives led Christians, otherwise divided in so many things, to unity! The martyrs and saints of all ecclesial traditions are already one in Christ (cf. Jn 17:22); their names are written in the one common martyrology of God’s Church. Having sacrificed themselves on earth out of love, they dwell in the one heavenly Jerusalem, gathered around the Lamb who was slain (Rev 7:13-17)… Just as in the early Church the blood of the martyrs was the seed of new Christians, so in our own day may the blood of so many martyrs be a seed of unity between believers…”[5]

Francis calls the leaders of the heretical and schismatic “Orthodox” churches “my venerable brothers”.  In Catholic history true popes referred to Catholic bishops as “venerable brothers”.  Francis also proclaims the heresy that the non-Catholic “Orthodox” are part of the one true Church.  He ends his heretical address by proclaiming the blatant heresy that there are non-Catholic martyrs and saints, and that people who died outside the Catholic Church “dwell in the one heavenly Jerusalem”.  He is a notorious heretic.
