Francis’ April 5, 2017 greeting during a meeting with a Delegation of Muslim leaders from the UK:

“I welcome you with joy. I like to think that the most important task we must do together, in humanity, is the work ‘of the ear’: listening to each other. Listening to each other, without haste to give an answer. Welcoming the word of our brother, our sister, and then thinking of giving my own. But the capacity to listen, this is very important... Among brothers, we must all speak, listen to each other and speak slowly, calmly, looking for the way together. And when we listen to each other and speak to each other, we are already on the path. Thank you for this journey you are taking, and I ask God, almighty and merciful, to bless you.  And I ask you to pray for me.  Thank you very much.”[1]

Francis says we need to listen to Muslims who reject the Trinity and hold that Jesus is not God.  Francis says that Catholics and Muslims are “looking for the way together”.  Francis thanks Muslims for the journey they are taking: that of rejecting Catholicism and the divinity of Jesus.  Francis asks God to bless Muslims, even though they reject the true God.  He also asks for Islamic prayers.  He is an idolatrous apostate.

Francis’ “Angelus’ prayer” on April 9, 2017:

“And let us pray for the victims of the attacks unfortunately carried out today, this morning, in a Coptic Church. To my dear brother, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, to the Coptic Church, and to the entire dear Egyptian nation, I express my deepest condolences; I pray for the dead.”[2]

Francis calls Tawadros (the leader of the heretical and schismatic Coptic “Orthodox” Church of Alexandria) “His Holiness” and his “dear brother”.  Francis rejects Catholic teaching by saying about deceased non-Catholics, “I pray for the dead”.  Francis doesn’t believe these souls needed to be Catholic and die in the state of grace to be saved.  Francis believes that anyone who died in the attack was saved.

Francis’ ‘TED talk’ broadcast on April 25, 2017:

“God himself descended into Jesus to be on our level.”[3]

Francis promotes the Nestorian heresy, that Jesus did not become man, but merely united himself with a man named Jesus.

Francis’ address to the participants at the International Peace Conference on April 25, 2017.  The conference was “sponsored by Al-Azhar University, Sunni Islam’s most renowned academic institution:

“I consider it a great gift to be able to begin my Visit to Egypt here, and to address you in the context of this International Peace Conference. I thank my brother, the Grand Imam, for having planned and organized this Conference, and for kindly inviting me to take part... Precisely in the field of dialogue, particularly interreligious dialogue, we are constantly called to walk together, in the conviction that the future also depends on the encounter of religions and cultures. In this regard, the work of the Mixed Committee for Dialogue between the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and the Committee of Al-Azhar for Dialogue offers us a concrete and encouraging example. Three basic areas, if properly linked to one another, can assist in this dialogue: the duty to respect one’s own identity and that of others, the courage to accept differences, and sincerity of intentions. The duty to respect one’s own identity and that of others, because true dialogue cannot be built on ambiguity or a willingness to sacrifice some good for the sake of pleasing others. The courage to accept differences, because those who are different, either culturally or religiously, should not be seen or treated as enemies, but rather welcomed as fellow-travelers, in the genuine conviction that the good of each resides in the good of all… In facing this great cultural challenge, one that is both urgent and exciting, we, Christians, Muslims and all believers, are called to offer our specific contribution: ‘We live under the sun of the one merciful God… Thus, in a true sense, we can call one another brothers and sisters’… In Egypt, not only did the sun of wisdom rise, but also the variegated light of the religions shone in this land. Here, down the centuries, differences of religion constituted ‘a form of mutual enrichment in the service of the one national community’. Different faiths met and a variety of cultures blended without being confused… As religious leaders, we are called, therefore, to unmask the violence that masquerades as purported sanctity and is based more on the ‘absolutizing’ of selfishness than on authentic openness to the Absolute. We have an obligation to denounce violations of human dignity and human rights, to expose attempts to justify every form of hatred in the name of religion, and to condemn these attempts as idolatrous caricatures of God: Holy is his name, he is the God of peace, God salaam… Let us say together: the more we grow in the love of God, the more we grow in the love of our neighbor. Religion, however, is not meant only to unmask evil… our task is that of praying for one another… All are brothers and sisters. Moreover, we know that, engaged in a constant battle against the evil that threatens a world which is no longer ‘a place of genuine fraternity’, God assures all those who trust in his love that ‘the way of love lies open to men and that the effort to establish universal brotherhood is not vain.’”[4]

Francis says the Islamic leader is his spiritual brother and that we should “walk together” with false religions.  He then utters the heresy that the future depends on the “encounter” between various false religions.  He asks people to have “the courage to accept differences”.  Francis says we have a duty to respect the false religions that others have chosen to embrace.  Francis then calls Muslims “believers” who offer a “specific contribution” to society.  Francis says Muslims are spiritual brothers and sisters.  Francis also speaks of how the “light” of various false religions have “shone in this land”.  Francis declares that “differences of religion constituted a form of mutual enrichment”.  This is more apostasy from Francis.  Francis describes the leaders of various false religions as “religious leaders” who “are called”.  Francis then says that Muslims can “grow in the love of God” while continuing to embrace Islam.  Francis says that false religions are called “to unmask evil” with the task of praying for others.  Francis also says that false religious leaders are “engaged in a constant battle against the evil that threatens a world”.  Francis is an abominable apostate.

Francis’ video message to the people of Egypt on April 28, 2017.  The message was given after Francis offered his morning “Mass” for “his brother” Tawadros II (“Orthodox”) “Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark”:

“I offer heartfelt thanks to the President of the Republic, to His Holiness Patriarch Tawadros II, to the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, and to the Coptic-Catholic Patriarch, all of whom invited me… a message of friendship and respect for all the inhabitants of Egypt and the region, and a message of brotherhood and reconciliation with all the children of Abraham, particularly the Muslim world, in which Egypt holds so important a place.  I would also hope that my visit will make a fruitful contribution to interreligious dialogue with the followers of Islam and to ecumenical dialogue with the venerable and beloved Coptic Orthodox Church… Muslims and Christians, rich and poor…  I embrace you warmly and I ask Almighty God to bless you and protect your country from every evil. Please pray for me! Thank you and may Egypt flourish!”[5]

Francis (as always) calls the leader of the schismatic church “His Holiness” and calls for “brotherhood” with the Muslim world.  Francis mentions he has “respect for all the inhabitants of Egypt”.  Francis respects all the followers of Islam, etc. and those who have no religious beliefs at all.  Francis calls the heretical and schismatic “Orthodox” church “the venerable and beloved Coptic Orthodox Church”.  A heretical and schismatic church is “venerable” and “beloved” according Francis!  Francis also says he embraces Muslims, and once again asks for their Christ-rejecting “prayers”.

Francis’ April 28, 2017 discourse to 800 representatives of Egyptian institutions:

“I thank you, Mr President, for your cordial words of greeting and for your kind invitation to visit your beloved country. I have vivid memories of your visit to Rome in November 2014, my fraternal meeting with his Holiness Pope Tawadros II in 2013, and my meeting last year with the Grand Imam of the University of Al-Azhar, Dr Ahmad Al-Tayyib. I am happy to be here in Egypt, a land of ancient and noble civilization, whose vestiges we can admire even today; in their majestic splendor they appear to withstand the passing of time. This land is significant for the history of humanity and for the Church’s tradition, not only because of its prestigious past – that of Pharaohs, Copts and Muslims… above all, unconditional respect for inalienable human rights such as equality among all citizens, religious freedom and freedom of expression, without any distinction… Egypt has a special role to play in this regard, so that this region, the cradle of the three great religions, can and indeed will awake from the long night of tribulation, and once more radiate the supreme values of justice and fraternity… I would like to greet with affection and a paternal embrace all the Egyptian people, who are symbolically present here in this hall. I also greet my Christian sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters, who live in this country: Coptic Orthodox, Greek Byzantines, Armenian Orthodox, Protestants and Catholics. May Saint Mark, the evangelizer of this land, watch over you and help all of us to build and achieve the unity so greatly desired by our Lord (cf. Jn 17:20-23). Your presence in this, your country, is not new or accidental, but ancient and an inseparable part of the history of Egypt. You are an integral part of this country, and over the course of the centuries you have developed a sort of unique rapport, a particular symbiosis, which can serve as an example to other nations. You have shown, and continue to show, that it is possible to live together in mutual respect and fairness, finding in difference a source of richness and never a motive of conflict (cf. Benedict XVI, Post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation Ecclesia in Medio Oriente, 24 and 25).”[6]

Francis speaks of the history of Islam and “Orthodoxy” in Egypt.  He calls it a “prestigious past”.  The “prestigious past” of Islam and “Orthodoxy” in Egypt has included countless souls falling into error and eternal dangation.  Francis promotes the frequently-condemned heresy of religious freedom and expression “without any distinction”.  Francis speaks of the “great religions” of Egypt.  Francis says that having the “Orthodox” and Protestants in Egypt is “integral” (essential).  Francis ends by describing differences in religion as “a source of richness and never a motive of conflict”.  This is complete religious indifferentism and total apostasy from the Catholic faith.

Francis’ April 28, 2017 Common Declaration signed by Francis and the leader of the Coptic “Orthodox” Church of Alexandria, Egypt. This Common Declaration was signed at the conclusion of their meeting in the “Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate”:

“1. We, Francis, Bishop of Rome and Pope of the Catholic Church, and Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark, give thanks to God in the Holy Spirit for granting us the joyful opportunity to meet once more, to exchange a fraternal embrace and to join again in common prayer. We glorify the Almighty for the bonds of fraternity and friendship existing between the See of Saint Peter and the See of Saint Mark. The privilege of being together here in Egypt is a sign that the solidity of our relationship is increasing year by year, and that we are growing in closeness, faith and love of Christ our Lord. We give thanks to God for this beloved Egypt, the ‘homeland that lives inside us,’ as His Holiness Pope Shenouda III used to say, the ‘people blessed by God’ (cf. Is 19:25) with its ancient Pharaonic civilization, the Greek and Roman heritage, the Coptic tradition and the Islamic presence. Egypt is the place where the Holy Family found refuge, a land of martyrs and saints…

Comment: In his “Declaration”, Francis again says that the schismatic “Orthodox” leader (Tawadros II) is “Pope” and “Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark”.  He says he is “joyful” to “join again in common prayer” with the heretical and schismatic leader.  He then calls a different schismatic leader (Shenouda III) “His Holiness” and the “Pope”.  Francis speaks of “this beloved Egypt” and its “people blessed by God” because of the “Islamic presence”.  What an apostate!

6.  This love finds its deepest expression in common prayer…

Comment: Francis strongly encourages the mortally sinful practice of praying with non-Catholics committed to their non-Catholic faith.

7…  we can cooperate in many areas and demonstrate in a tangible way the great richness which already unites us…  we are encouraged to engage in a deeper study of the Oriental and Latin Fathers, and to promote a fruitful exchange in pastoral life, especially in catechesis, and in mutual spiritual enrichment between monastic and religious communities…

Comment: Francis says he is united to heretics and schismatics (the “Orthodox”) and that there is “spiritual enrichment” from their “monastic and religious communities”.

8.  Our shared Christian witness is a grace-filled sign of reconciliation and hope for Egyptian society and its institutions, a seed planted to bear fruit… Religious freedom, including freedom of conscience, rooted in the dignity of the person, is the cornerstone of all other freedoms. It is a sacred and inalienable right…

Comment: Francis once again promotes the idea of “freedom of conscience” – a false teaching solemnly condemned by the Catholic Church.

Pope Pius IX, Quanta Cura (#’s 3-6), Dec. 8, 1864, ex cathedra: “From which totally false idea of social government they do not fear to foster that erroneous opinion, most fatal in its effects on the Catholic Church and the salvation of souls, called by Our predecessor, Gregory XVI, an insanity, NAMELY, THAT ‘LIBERTY OF CONSCIENCE AND WORSHIP IS EACH MAN’S PERSONAL RIGHT, WHICH OUGHT TO BE LEGALLY PROCLAIMED AND ASSERTED IN EVERY RIGHTLY CONSTITUTED SOCIETY; and that a right resides in the citizens to an absolute liberty, which should be restrained by no authority whether ecclesiastical or civil, WHEREBY THEY MAY BE ABLE OPENLY AND PUBLICLY TO MANIFEST AND DECLARE ANY OF THEIR IDEAS WHATEVER, EITHER BY WORD OF MOUTH, BY THE PRESS, OR IN ANY OTHER WAY.’  But while they rashly affirm this, they do not understand and note that they are preaching ‘liberty of perdition’…  Therefore, BY OUR APOSTOLIC AUTHORITY, WE REPROBATE, PROSCRIBE, AND CONDEMN ALL THE SINGULAR AND EVIL OPINIONS AND DOCTRINES SPECIALLY MENTIONED IN THIS LETTER, AND WILL AND COMMAND THAT THEY BE THOROUGHLY HELD BY ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AS REPROBATED, PROSCRIBED AND CONDEMNED.”[7]

9… The tragic experiences and the blood shed by our faithful who were persecuted and killed for the sole reason of being Christian, remind us all the more that the ecumenism of martyrdom unites us and encourages us…

Comment: Francis once again promotes the heresy that there are non-Catholic martyrs.  He says that “Catholics” are united to the “martyrdom” of non-Catholics, and that non-Catholic martyrdom “encourages us”.

10… the martyrs are our guides. In the early Church the blood of the martyrs was the seed of new Christians. So too in our own day, may the blood of so many martyrs be the seed of unity among all Christ’s disciples, a sign and instrument of communion and peace for the world.”[8]

Francis’ April 28, 2017 address during meeting with “His Holiness Pope Tawadros at the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo”:

“Your Holiness, Dear Brother,

Only a short time has passed since the great Solemnity of Easter, the heart of the Christian life, which we were blessed this year to celebrate on the same day. We thus joined in proclaiming the Easter message and, in a sense, relived the experience of the first disciples who together ‘rejoiced when they saw the Lord’ that day (Jn 20:20). This paschal joy is today made all the more precious by the gift of our joining to worship the Risen One in prayer and by our renewed exchange, in his name, of the holy kiss and embrace of peace. For this, I am deeply grateful: in coming here as a pilgrim, I was sure of receiving the blessing of a brother who awaited me. I have eagerly looked forward to this new meeting, for I vividly recall the visit Your Holiness made to Rome shortly after my election, on 10 May 2013. That date has happily become the occasion for celebrating an annual Day of Friendship between Copts and Catholics… In this exciting journey, which – like life itself – is not always easy and straightforward, but on which the Lord exhorts us to persevere, we are not alone. We are accompanied by a great host of saints and martyrs… It is with this constructive apostolic spirit that Your Holiness continues to show a genuine and fraternal attention for the Coptic Catholic Church. I am most grateful for this closeness, which has found praiseworthy expression in the National Council of Christian Churches, which you have established so that believers in Jesus can work together more closely for the benefit of Egyptian society as a whole. I also greatly appreciated the generous hospitality offered to the thirteenth Meeting of the International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches, which took place here last year at your invitation. It is a promising sign that the following meeting took place this year in Rome, as if to bespeak a particular continuity between the Sees of Mark and Peter… The deepening progress of our ecumenical journey is also sustained, in a mysterious and quite relevant way, by a genuine ecumenism of blood. Saint John tells us that Jesus came ‘with water and blood’ (1 Jn 5:6); whoever believes in him thus ‘overcomes the world’ (1 Jn 5:5). With water and blood: by living a new life in our common baptism, a life of love always and for all, even at the cost of the sacrifice of one’s life. How many martyrs in this land… The venerable Martyrology of the Coptic Church bears eloquent witness to this. Even in recent days, tragically, the innocent blood of defenceless Christians was cruelly shed: their innocent blood unites us. Most dear brother, just as the heavenly Jerusalem is one, so too is our martyrology; your sufferings are also our sufferings. Strengthened by this witness, let us strive to oppose violence by preaching…”[9]

Francis mentions once again how he is “joined” to heretics and schismatics.  As always, he makes sure to address the heretical and schismatic leader as “Your Holiness”.  Francis once again promotes the condemned heresy that non-Catholic sects produce martyrs.  The Catholic Church infallibly teaches that outside the Church there are no Christian martyrs.

Pope Pelagius II, epistle (2) Dilectionis vestrae, 585: “Those who were not willing to be at agreement in the Church of God, cannot remain with God; although given over to flames and fires, they burn, or thrown to wild beasts, they lay down their lives, there will not be for them that crown of faith, but the punishment of faithlessness, not a glorious result (of religious virtue), but the ruin of despair.  Such a one can be slain; he cannot be crowned.”[10]

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Cantate Domino, Session 11, Feb. 4, 1442: “… no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained within the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”[11]

Francis’ April 29, 2017 remarks during his meeting with “local clergy, religious and seminarians” from Egypt:

“I am happy to be with you in this house of formation for priests, which represents the heart of the Catholic Church in Egypt. I am pleased to greet you, the priests and consecrated men and women of the small Catholic flock in Egypt, as the ‘leaven’ which God is preparing for this blessed land, so that, together with our Orthodox brothers and sisters, his Kingdom may increase in this place (cf. Mt 13:13).”[12]

According to Francis, the Kingdom of Heaven increases when people embrace the heretical and schismatic “Orthodox” religion.

Francis’ April 29, 2017 press conference on return flight from Egypt:

Vera Shcherbakova (Itar-Tass): “Holy Father, I thank you, first of all for your blessing: you blessed me, I had knelt down a few minutes ago, here in the front.  I am Orthodox and I do not see any contradiction…  I wanted to ask you: what are the prospects for relations with the Orthodox – obviously Russian, but also, yesterday, in the Common Declaration with the Orthodox Coptic Patriarch – there is the date of Easter in common, and it also speaks about the recognition of Baptism…  At what point are we?...”

Francis: “… Since Buenos Aires, I have always had a great friendship with the Orthodox.  For example, every 6 January I would go to Vespers, in your Cathedral, to Patriarch Plato – who now is in the area of Ukraine, he is the Archbishop – two hours and forty minutes in a language that I did not understand, but I was able to pray well!... I always had a fraternal relationship: we are sister Churches.  I have a special friendship with Patriarch Tawadros: for me he is a great man of God.  Tawadros is a Patriarch, a Pope who will take the Church forward, the name of Jesus forward… He has great apostolic zeal…  He is a man of God… he is a man who was sent to a diocese with five churches and he left twenty-five, with I’m not sure with how many Christian families, and he did this with apostolic zeal. You know how their election works; they find three, they are chosen, and then their names are put into a bag, a child is called up with eyes bandaged and picks out a name… and there is the Lord! Clearly he is a great Patriarch. The unity of baptism moves forward… The Russian Orthodox recognize our baptism and we recognize theirs. I was very friendly with the Bishop in Buenos Aires, with the Russians. Also with the Georgians, for example. The Patriarch of the Georgians is a man of God, Ilia II, a mystic! We Catholics must learn also from this tradition of mysticism in the Orthodox Churches. On this trip we had an ecumenical meeting: and Patriarch Bartholomew was also present, the Greek-Orthodox Patriarch was present, and there were other Christians: Anglicans, and the Secretary of the World Council of Churches in Geneva… Everything that contributes to ecumenism is in motion. Ecumenism is achieved by moving forward… What can we do now?  We must do what is possible: pray together, work together, exercise acts of charity together… But together! This is what it means to move forward. Relations with Patriarch Kirill are good, they are good. The Metropolitan Archbishop Hilarion has also come on several occasions to speak to me, and we have a good relationship.”[13]

Francis reveals that he would regularly pray with the schismatic “Orthodox” in their non-Catholic cathedral.  This is a mortal sin and a further expression of his manifest heresy.  Francis says he “was able to pray well” in the schismatic church.  Francis calls the “Orthodox” sect a “sister church”.  Francis says the schismatic church leader, “Patriarch” Tawadros, is “a great man of God”.  Francis then declares that the notoriously heretical and schismatic leader is a true “Patriarch” and “a Pope”.  Francis adds that the non-Catholic “will take the Church forward”.  Francis declares that the schismatic “has great apostolic zeal” and again says he “is a man of God”.  Francis is greatly impressed by the growth of schismatic churches from five to twenty-five under the leadership of the schismatic.  Francis explains the process by which the “Orthodox” select a new schismatic leader, with a child picking the name out of a bag.  Francis says that the Lord was the operating force behind this selection.  Francis calls him “a great Patriarch”.  Francis then calls the schismatic Illia II “Patriarch” of the Georgians, “a man of God”, and “a mystic!”.  Francis then utters the heresy that “we Catholics must learn also from this tradition of mysticism in the Orthodox Churches”.  Francis says we must pray together with heretics and schismatics.  He calls another schismatic leader named Hilarion an “Archbishop”, which is to give him the title of a jurisdictional leader of the one true Church of Jesus Christ.  Francis is a notorious heretic and a schismatic.
