The Heresies in Benedict XVI’s Recent Encyclical, Charity in Truth; His Call for a New World Order

Benedict XVI’s encyclical Charity in Truth #56: “The Christian religion and other religions can offer their contribution to development only if God has a place in the public realm, specifically in regard to its cultural, social, economic, and particularly its political dimensions. The Church's social doctrine came into being in order to claim “citizenship status” for the Christian religion. Denying the right to profess one's religion in public and the right to bring the truths of faith to bear upon public life has negative consequences for true development. The exclusion of religion from the public square — and, at the other extreme, religious fundamentalism — hinders an encounter between persons and their collaboration for the progress of humanity. Public life is sapped of its motivation and politics takes on a domineering and aggressive character.”[1]

Benedict XVI teaches the heresy that other religions can offer a true contribution to a positive development in the world. He then says that “denying the right to profess one’s religion in public has negative consequences for true development.” This is heresy. Benedict XVI then utters the heresy that when different false religious beliefs are excluded from the public sphere it hinders the progress of humanity and “public life is sapped of its motivation.”

Benedict XVI’s encyclical Charity in Truth #57: “Fruitful dialogue between faith and reason cannot but render the work of charity more effective within society, and it constitutes the most appropriate framework for promoting fraternal collaboration between believers and non-believers in their shared commitment to working for justice and the peace of the human family. In the Pastoral Constitution Gaudium et Spes, the Council fathers asserted that ‘believers and unbelievers agree almost unanimously that all things on earth should be ordered towards man as to their centre and summit’. For believers, the world derives neither from blind chance nor from strict necessity, but from God's plan. This is what gives rise to the duty of believers to unite their efforts with those of all men and women of good will, with the followers of other religions and with non-believers, so that this world of ours may effectively correspond to the divine plan: living as a family under the Creator's watchful eye.”[2]

Benedict XVI says that believers and non-believers help bring justice and peace to the human family. He then utters the blasphemy that all things on earth should be ordered toward man, instead of God. Benedict XVI then utters the heresy that when believers in any religion on the planet work together the world will more correctly follow the divine plan.

Benedict XVI’s encyclical Charity in Truth #67: “In the face of the unrelenting growth of global interdependence, there is a strongly felt need, even in the midst of a global recession, for a reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth. One also senses the urgent need to find innovative ways of implementing the principle of the responsibility to protect and of giving poorer nations an effective voice in shared decision-making. This seems necessary in order to arrive at a political, juridical and economic order which can increase and give direction to international cooperation for the development of all peoples in solidarity. To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago. Such an authority would need to be regulated by law, to observe consistently the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, to seek to establish the common good, and to make a commitment to securing authentic integral human development inspired by the values of charity in truth. Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums. Without this, despite the great progress accomplished in various sectors, international law would risk being conditioned by the balance of power among the strongest nations. The integral development of peoples and international cooperation require the establishment of a greater degree of international ordering, marked by subsidiarity, for the management of globalization. They also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations.”[3]

Benedict XVI calls for a world authority that manages the world’s economies. He calls for it to have effective power to control the nations. He says it would need to be universally recognized. According to Benedict XVI, it would need to have the authority “to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties.” Benedict XVI is clearly endorsing the economic New World Order of the international bankers, which is the prime cause of the financial problems in the world. Benedict XVI is without any doubt calling for the world authority “envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations.” This is extremely evil.

Benedict XVI’s June 27, 2009 Address to the Delegation of the “Ecumenical Patriarchate of the Orthodox Church”: “Last year, His Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch, wished to honor us with his presence in order to celebrate together the inauguration of this year of prayers, reflection and the exchange of acts of communion between Rome and Constantinople. In our turn, we had the joy of sending a delegation to the corresponding celebrations organized by the Ecumenical Patriarchate… Welcome, therefore dear Brothers who have been sent by His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, to whom, in reciprocation, I ask you to take my warm fraternal greeting in the Lord… By your presence, which is a sign of ecclesial brotherhood, you remind us of our common commitment to seeking full communion. You know this already, but I have the pleasure today once again of confirming that the Catholic Church intends to contribute in every possible way to re-establishing full unity, in response to Christ’s will… I hope with all my heart that the misunderstandings and tension encountered among the Orthodox Delegates at the last Plenary Meetings of this Commission have been resolved in brotherly love in such a way that this dialogue may be more broadly representative of Orthodoxy. Beloved Brothers, I thank you once again for being with us today and I ask you to convey my fraternal greeting to His Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch, to the Holy Synod and to all the clergy, as well as to the Orthodox faithful. May the joy of the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul that we traditionally celebrate on the same day fill your hearts with trust and hope.”[4]

Benedict XVI calls the schismatic leader “His Holiness.” This is a manifestation of communion with schism and heresy. He then directly speaks of “communion” between the Catholic Church and the schismatic church. The true Catholic Church has no true communion with any schismatic churches. Benedict XVI states that the Catholic Church intends to re-establish fully unity. This is also heresy because unity always exists in the true Catholic Church. To say that the Catholic Church needs to re-establish full unity of faith is heresy. Benedict XVI then called the schismatics “beloved” and “faithful” and he referred to their synod as “holy.” This is another schismatic address by the schismatic Antipope Benedict XVI.
