Anarchist 3D-printed weapons fanatic Cody Wilson is one of the '15 most dangerous men in the world'
mirror.co.uk
American magazine Wired has put him on a list with Qasem Soleimani, Bashar al-Assad and Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman... The technology monthly put him at number 14 on a list of 15 headed by Qasem Soleimani, leader of Iran’s Quds special forces, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. The magazine also named him fifth most dangerous person on the internet, one place behind North Korean despot Kim Jong-Un. Wilson’s goal is to let anyone create a lethal plastic weapon with just a click anywhere in the world. He has boasted that the code for printing his plastic weapons may be available within weeks...
The anarchist law student has already developed a Liberator pistol online along with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle... Wilson graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with an English degree in 2010 then studied law at the University of Texas. More recently he has collaborated on Dark Wallet, an application designed to make the online currency Bitcoin untraceable. He manufactured and sold the Ghost Gunner 3D printer which created metal components of the AR-15 and made a video to publicise it. The AR-15 he built has the same capability as the real thing which fires up to 120 rounds a minute and has a range of around 550 yards. His plastic machine gun will be even more lethal than his earlier weapons. Automatic weapons are capable of firing hundreds of rounds a minute.
