Trump is accused of speaking to his campaign manager at commercial breaks as the BBB denies sending him a fax while the debate was in progress

Confusion surrounds the quality ratings given to Trump University, Donald Trump's now-shuttered online education company, as the Republican candidate was accused Saturday of cheating during Thursday's Fox News debate.
During the most recent debate Trump claimed the company had near-perfect approval rates and an A rating by the Better Business Bureau.
This was repudiated by Marco Rubio, who said 'the rating from the BBB was a D-minus, and it was a result of a number of complaints they received.'
As it turns out, the online education company doesn't have a current rating by the BBB because it has largely ceased doing business.
A Politifact investigation shows the company's ratings by the BBB throughout the years fluctuated widely.
At one point, it did have an A rating, but the most recent rating was a D-.
In 2010, Trump University was forced to stop calling itself a university since it wasn't one.
'Use of the word 'university' by your corporation is misleading and violates New York Education Law and the Rules of the Board of Regents,' read part of the New York Department of Education ruling that resulted in the name change, according to the New York Daily News.
After the company was rebranded as the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative, it never reached a BBB rating higher than B.
Sometime within the last two years, BBB stopped rating the company, according to Politifact.
The ratings debate got even muddier after a video emerged Thursday that appears to show Trump handing Fox News debate moderators a fax from the BBB.
'Better Business Bureau just sent it. It just came in. I just got it,' Trump can be heard saying in the video clip, which was published by the Independent Journal Review.
BBB fought back Friday, writing in a statement that it did not send Trump a fax during the debate.
