20 second video: Driver avoids airborne barrel-rolling pickup
Brandon Turkus autoblog.com Dashcam videos can be divvied up into two categories - "I can't believe that just happened," and "You're lucky to be alive." The former is usually quite funny and entertaining, while the latter is usually kind of scary; involving a close call between our camera car and something quite dangerous. This particular video from Thailand is very much member of the second variety. The video shows a Ford Ranger plodding through what looks like some unfriendly weather, when out of nowhere, a Mazda BT50 pickup barrel rolls across the highway median, narrowly missing our camera car. The reaction time of our driver is quite impressive. As for the driver of the Mazda, he's alive, but suffered an injury to his arm. Take a look below for the full video.
