Over 1,000 Starbucks employees have walked out in protest of new dress code
The days of being greeted by a Starbucks barista with blue hair, piercings, and "Pride" shirts may be coming to an end.
Apparently, Starbucks is changing the dress code to require black shirts and khaki, black, or blue bottoms under the signature green apron at all their U.S. and Canada stores.
According to an AP report, Starbucks says the new rules will "make its green aprons stand out and create a sense of familiarity for customers as it tries to establish a warmer, more welcoming feeling in its stores."
Starbucks says they will even provide clothes free of charge...
