Child porn ring was operated out of the home of man portraying himself as a babysitter
wncn.com SANFORD, N.C. - The Harnett County Sheriff's Office said deputies busted a child porn ring being operated out of the home of a man who portrayed himself to be a mentor and babysitter.
Between Jan. 5 and June 24, deputies arrested five suspects in connection with a child pornography production ring that operated out of a Sanford home perceived to be a daycare.
Investigators say Bailey Joe Mills, 33, was arrested Jan. 5 on charges of first-degree rape of a child, first-degree sexual exploitation of a child, statutory rape of a child, first-degree statutory sex offense and indecent liberties with a child.
Mills was arrested after deputies received a tip that Mills contacted a 12-year-old girl on Facebook about paying her for sex.
