Antipope Francis repeatedly teaches that there are Muslim "Martyrs"

Francis’ September 21, 2014 “Homily” in “Mother Teresa Square” in Tirana, Albania:

“Recalling the decades of atrocious suffering and harsh persecutions against Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims, we can say that Albania was a land of martyrs: many bishops, priests, men and women religious, laity, and clerics and ministers of other religions paid for their fidelity with their lives.”[1]

Francis says that heretics, Muslims, and members of “other religions” who died embracing their false religions were “martyrs”.  That is to teach that Muslims are martyrs!

Francis’ September 21, 2014 In-Flight interview with journalists on trip from Albania back to Rome:

Question: “Your Holiness set out with a certain idea of Albanians, of Albania.  How Albanians have suffered but are also tolerant.  Did you find any other qualities in the Albanians which you met?  Are these qualities the right ones to make the eagle return to the nest?”

Francis: “I would say that I came to a better understanding of those things you mentioned, but I was also able to see at close hand the suffering which you Albanians endured.  The matter of tolerance… I would put it differently.  Albanians are not so much ‘tolerant’ – they are brothers and sisters.  They have the ability to be brothers and sisters: and that is something more important.  And this is evident in the way they live with one another, in cooperation between Muslims, Orthodox and Catholics.  They cooperate, but as brothers and sisters…”

Question: “Your Holiness, what were your emotions as you drove down the central boulevard of Tirana, under the pictures of the clergy who were martyred during the communist regime, in a country in which until 25 years ago atheism had been officially imposed?”

Francis: “When I saw those photographs (and there were not only Catholics, but Orthodox also Muslims as well...) So I would say that all three religious groups bore witness to God and now they are bearing witness to brotherhood.”[2]

Francis says that Muslims are “brothers and sisters” and that deceased “martyred” Muslims “bore witness to God”.

Francis’ September 21, 2014 address to the political and civil authorities of Albania:

“I am very happy to be here with you, in this noble land of Albania, a land of heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the nation, and a land of martyrs, who witnessed to their faith in difficult times of persecution… Respect for human rights – for you, ‘respect’ is an essential word – among which religious freedom and freedom of expression stand out, is the preliminary condition for a country’s social and economic development… There is a rather beautiful characteristic of Albania, one which is given great care and attention, and which gives me great joy: I am referring to the peaceful coexistence and collaboration that exists among followers of different religions.  The climate of respect and mutual trust between Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims is a precious gift to the country… What the experience in Albania shows, rather, is that a peaceful and fruitful coexistence between persons and communities of believers of different religions is not only desirable, but possible and realistic.  The peaceful coexistence of different religious communities is, in fact, an inestimable benefit to peace and to harmonious human advancement.  This is something of value which needs to be protected and nourished each day, by providing an education which respects differences and particular identities, so that dialog and cooperation for the good of all may be promoted and strengthened by mutual understanding and esteem.  It is a gift which we need to implore God in prayer.  May Albania always continue to walk this path, offering to others countries an inspiring example.”[3]

Francis mentions that the predominantly Muslim country of Albania is “a land of martyrs, who witnessed to their faith”.  He again speaks about collaboration “among followers of different [false] religions”.  Francis asks for “respect” and “trust” for Muslims.  Francis says that we should “esteem” differences between religions.  He also encourages and endorses idolatry again when he tells the non-Christians (who worship a false god or gods) to “implore God in prayer”.   This is total apostasy from the Catholic faith.

Francis’ September 24, 2014 “catechesis” at General Audience – He spoke about his journey to Albania:

“This visit was born of my desire to go to a country which, after long being oppressed by an atheist and inhuman regime, is living the experience of peaceful coexistence among the country’s different religious components.  I felt it was important to encourage it on this path, that it may continue with tenacity to evaluate all the implications for the benefit of the common good. For this reason the Journey had at its center an interreligious meeting where I was able to observe, with great satisfaction, that the peaceful and fruitful coexistence between persons and communities of believers of different religions is not only desirable, but possible and realistic.  They are putting it into practice!  This entails an authentic and fruitful dialogue which spurns relativism and takes the identity of each one into account. What the various religious expressions have in common is, indeed, life’s journey, the good will to do good to one’s neighbor, without denying or diminishing their respective identity…  Travelling along Tirana’s principal boulevard which leads from the airport to the great central square, I was able to glimpse the portraits of 40 priests assassinated during the communist dictatorship, for whom the Cause of Beatification has been opened. These are joined by hundreds of Christian and Muslim religious men and women assassinated, tortured, imprisoned and deported simply because they believed in God. There were dark years during which religious freedom was razed to the ground and belief in God was prohibited.  Thousands of churches and mosques were destroyed, transformed into warehouses and cinemas which propagated the Marxist ideology.  Religious books were burned and parents were prohibited from giving their children the religious names of their ancestors.  The memory of these tragic events is essential for the future of a people. The memory of martyrs who resisted in faith is a guarantee for the future of Albania; because their blood was not shed in vain, but is a seed which will bear the fruit of peace and fraternal cooperation.  Today, in fact, Albania is an example not only of the rebirth of the Church, but also of the peaceful coexistence of religions.  Thus, the martyrs are not the defeated, but the victors…”[4]

Francis (once again) promotes an apostate interreligious prayer meeting.  Francis then complains about the fact that “mosques were destroyed”.  Islam, the false religion Antipope Francis promotes, has been condemned by true Catholic popes as “abominable” and “diabolical”.

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Basel, 1434: “… there is hope that very many from the abominable sect of Mahomet will be converted to the Catholic faith.”[5]

Pope Callixtus III: “I vow to… exalt the true Faith, and to extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and faithless Mahomet [Islam] in the East.”[6]

Antipope Francis then clearly teaches that Muslims are “martyrs”.  He says that “their blood was not shed in vain” and will “bear fruit”.  Francis says that these Muslim “martyrs” are “the victors” and “resisted in faith”.  This is total apostasy.  At the Council of Florence Pope Eugene IV declared that anyone who dies outside the Catholic Church will be lost forever.

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino”, 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, The Athanasian Creed, Sess. 8, Nov. 22, 1439, ex cathedra: “Whoever wishes to be saved, needs above all to hold the Catholic faith; unless each one preserves this whole and inviolate, he will without a doubt perish in eternity.”[7]

Pope Pelagius II, epistle (2) Dilectionis vestrae, 585: “Those who were not willing to be at agreement in the Church of God, cannot remain with God; although given over to flames and fires, they burn, or thrown to wild beasts, they lay down their lives, there will not be for them that crown of faith, but the punishment of faithlessness, not a glorious result (of religious virtue), but the ruin of despair. Such a one can be slain; he cannot be crowned.”[8]
