"Mum charged with husband’s murder after 'setting him on fire in armchair'"
A mother-of-five has been charged with her husband’s murder after she allegedly set him on fire in an armchair following an argument. Angela O’Brien, 33, from Geelong, Victoria, Australia, was arrested on Saturday after police were called to the family home at around 8.30pm. There, they found her husband Daniel Surtees, 36, suffering with severe burns nearby an armchair which is understood to have been completely burned in the blaze. The father was rushed to the hospital but his injuries were so severe, he died the following day. Images and footage from the family home showed a charred armchair and burnt ceilings and walls...
Local reports say neighbours heard the pair having a ‘petty argument’ in the hours leading up to the blaze.
