1 minute video: Marlin nearly injures a fisherman
news.ninemsn.com.au A heart-stopping video of three fishermen narrowly avoiding being skewered by a giant marlin after it launched itself into their boat, is going viral. The footage shows the unidentified trio sight the airborne fish, jumping into their path snout-first path, with seconds to spare. The fish thrashes and flails, threatening to impale the men with its long, pointy bill. In the hubbub one of the men flees the vessel by jumping overboard and is left in the water as the boat continues to move. Meanwhile, one of his companions races to free a man strapped into a chair fixed to the deck and holding a fishing rod. The whole time the enormous fish continues to thrash about on the deck.
