The Official Vatican Newspaper and Benedict XVI publicly declare that the non-Catholic “Orthodox” schismatic bishop in Greece is the “Archbishop of Athens and All Greece”

We have covered this heresy before, but notice the large headline: “VISIT OF THE ARCHBISHOP OF ATHENS AND ALL GREECE.”   The average person reading this headline in the official Vatican newspaper would think that this refers to some “Catholic” archbishop in Greece. No, the Vatican’s official newspaper (quoting Benedict XVI) is referring to the non-Catholic “Orthodox” schismatic “Archbishop” Christodoulos! Let that one sink in: the official Vatican newspaper (quoting Benedict XVI) refers to the non-Catholic schismatic “archbishop” in Greece as the “Archbishop of Athens and All Greece” in huge headlines repeated throughout its newspaper.

There are a number of bishops in Greece who profess to be Roman Catholic and profess to accept the “authority” of Benedict XVI as head of the Church, but “Archbishop” Christodoulos isn’t one of them. No matter, he holds authority over all Greece anyway, according to the official Vatican newspaper and Benedict XVI. This is so heretical, such an abominable mockery of Catholic teaching and the Church of Christ, that it’s hard to find words to describe how bad it is. It constitutes more proof that Benedict XVI is not a Catholic, and that he and his sect regard non-Catholic bishops not only as part of the Church of Christ, but as holding authority over Catholics in the Church of Christ! For if the schismatic Christodoulos holds authority over all Greece, then he holds authority over all of the “Catholic” laymen and bishops there! Wow… what a stunningly schismatic declaration.
